Life changes fast — and if you’re part of a defence, AFP or essential services family, you know adapting isn’t optional… it’s a way of life.

After moving from Adelaide to Sydney, then overseas to the UK, back to regional NSW and finally Canberra, I learned how important community, connection and reliability really are.

Canberra is where I made my boldest move yet — stepping out of corporate life and into small business, purchasing Living in Style, a much-loved Manuka store established back in 1988.  It was a leap of faith… and then came a global pandemic and two lockdowns. I’m still standing — and loving it.

Five months in, I reimagined the store and Lilly Cooper was born — a little more fun, a lot more heart, and very much me.

Eight years on, Lilly Cooper is a gift and homewares store built on trust, joy and genuine local service. I’m here behind the counter, hand-picking beautiful pieces from Australian makers and global brands — always with quality, safety and delight in mind.
